Thermal Relief Valve 1/2" MNPT 145 degree F | PN 5400111
Pressure Washer pumps are cooled by the water that passes through them. When in bypass, damaging heat can build up in the pump, leading to premature pump failure. The Thermal Relief valve protects the pump from these conditions. If the water in the valve housing reaches 145°F, the Thermal Relief Valve senses the excess temperature and opens up. This releases heated water and allows fresh cool water to enter the pump preventing damage. Once the trigger is squeezed or the water in the pump cools enough, the Thermal Relief Valve self resets and closes.
The Thermal Relief Valve can be installed into the pump inlet or bypass loop.
This Thermal Relief Valve has 1/2" MNPT threads and discharges at 145°F.
