Kränzle advanced hot water technology
Use an Industrial Dirt Killer nozzle, hi-PSI soap, and hot water simultaneously for maximum cleaning effectiveness.

Therm

High-pressure water cleans well. With an Industrial Dirt Killer turbo nozzle to increase the impact of the water, you get faster more efficient cleaning. Applying a cleaning chemical to loosen and break down the dirt is even better. Add hot water to melt the dirt and the cleaning process becomes more effective and faster yet. All this can be achieved with the KränzleUSA Therm unit. With precise digital temperature control to insure that the Industrial Dirt Killer nozzle is used at the correct temperature range (140° F is optimum), high-pressure soap injection, and hot water, you combine all the elements of efficient cleaning in one machine.

Auto on/off

The Therm and PowerPak are equipped with an auto on/off feature that powers up the pressure washer when you pull the trigger. Perfect in situations such as equipment washing where there is a break between each cleaning as the operator performs some other task -- like getting the next vehicle to wash.

The auto on/off feature has a 30-second time delay so the pressure washer continues to run for 30 seconds after the trigger is released before the unit shuts off. This prevents wear and tear on the electrical components from repeatedly turning the unit off by rapidly triggering the gunjet.

Total stop

A safety feature on the Therm and PowerPak series is the auto shut down. After 20 minutes of non-use, the pressure washer shuts itself off. This prevents the unit from suffering damage or presenting a safety hazard.

High pressure soap

The Therm uses high-pressure soap injection to apply cleaning chemical. Pumped through the pressure washer at high pressure, the cleaning chemicals are applied at the same time the dirt is rinsed off, providing a one-step cleaning process. Combined with hot water and an Industrial Dirt Killer nozzle maximum cleaning effectiveness is achieved.

Efficient burner system

    Therm coil cutaway

The Therm's water heating system is designed for maximum heating efficiency. This means very low emissions -- in excess of the tough European standards, while maintaining conservative fuel consumption.

The water feed and exit from the coil is from the top, so the water is heated throughout with no wasted energy. Fuel is also pre-heated so that it burns more cleanly and completely. The nine-inch wide combustion chamber is wider than most coils thus preventing the sooting process that results from the flame touching the sides of the combustion chamber. The 23 square foot heat-exchanging surface is larger than usual, making for quicker, more efficient transfer of thermal energy.

Lastly, the burner coil assembly is made from machined parts instead of punched parts, to insure all parts are aligned properly during assembly and service, so there is an exact alignment of flame funnel and burner nozzle. All these design features combine to make for an efficient, low emission heating system that is state-of-the-art.

Safety features

Therm FunctionThe Therm has safety built into its design by the incorporation of flame and temperature control, over-pressure safety valves and auto shut down after twenty minutes of non-use. The flame control switch insures that pressure washer burner will not start without water in the coil or spark to ignite the fuel. The temperature control shuts down the unit automatically if it gets too hot (over 300° F). Safety valves release any excess build-up of pressure in the system. Auto shut down turns the unit off completely if it has not been used for twenty minutes. All these safety features have been integrated into the advanced control featurest to provide diagnostic readout so technicians can easily determine the source of the trouble and easily fix the problem.

Steam capability

Therm has built in steam cleaning capability. Simply turn the temperature up to 280° F, or 140° C, and turn down the pressure to 500 psi with the unloader, and the Therm begins to generate steam.

Digital Temperature Control

Temperature ControlThe Therm has digital temperature control allowing the operator to control with precision the heat of the water. Simply set the desired temperature up to 290° F and the unit burner system responds. Get a continuous digital read out of how hot the water is coming out of the burner. This level of control lets the operator meet exact cleaning specifications needed in food processing or to use the Dirt Killer nozzle with the confidence he will not burn it up.

The digital temperature control display also gives the operator information on low fuel conditions and other system errors.

Hose reel

Hose radiusHose reels add a level of convenience by extending the range within which you can clean and by making set-up and tear-down much quicker. The hose reels on the B-Gasoline, PowerPak and Therm series pressure washer have 65 feet of hose instead of the normal 50 feet, thus extending the area you can clean 70 percent more without moving the pressure washer.

Flame Control

Therm series hot water pressure washers have automatic flame control. This prevents the burner from starting after an excess amount of fuel has been injected into the combustion chamber - preventing a fire hazard.

Safety Block

This multi-function control valve operates as an unloader valve to permit variable pressure and zero by-pass, as well as a safety valve to protect the machine from overpressure. There are integrated sets of flow switches that turn off the oil burner if the water level is too low, so preventing the combustion chamber from overheating.
