General Pump ESN1512 High Pressure Pump 

Commercial duty direct drive pump made by General Pump. Designed to fit a 1” shaft this assembly makes quick work of replacing your existing pump when you need repair. Installed plumbing includes a garden hose water inlet, external unloader, and bypass loop as well as outlet socket and plug style quick disconnect. Pump features a unique nickel plated head which aids in extending the service life of the pumps wet end wear parts. The Crankshaft has also been upgraded to handle constant duty use as well as maintain longer intervals between service.

Plumbing includes 45° elbows on the inlet and outlet connection. Its purpose is not only for ease of service and daily use, but also to aid in installation. Water inlet has an upgraded filter inlet to accommodate daily use from public water lines. Transparent glass allows you to see when there is a clog/ abnormal debris obstructing your inlet. Integrated molded garden nut inlet aids in easy on and off water hose hook up.

Bolt pattern on pump flange fits most horizontal shaft general purpose engines. Pump includes hardware set, breather dipstick, and comes prefilled with oil. 

Installation instructions are as follows:

1) Remove the old pump.

    a. Clean and inspect the engine shaft.
    
    b. If shaft key is worn or damaged replace immediately.

    c. Grease/ lubricate the entire shaft with some form of anti seize.

2) Slide new pump into place by lining up the engine key with the Keyway on both the pump flange and engine shaft.

    a. Pump may need rotated into place as you install around a frame.

3) Select the best placement for bolts as well as proper bolts based on the engines pattern.

    a. Install and tighten all bolts with the appropriate washers and/ or spacers provided.

    b. If applicable install shaft set screw.

4) Once the pump is properly installed to the engine the unloader can be adjusted to meet the optimal performance in accordance with the HP rating of your engine.

    a. Install breather dipstick prior to starting engine.

    b. Set engine throttle then manually adjust the unloader until the pump is set properly to your engine.
